For many years I worked on HEARTH’s website, which started with a call from the executive director, asking me to come into the agency and clean it up. They had been maintaining it themselves for awhile and it began to look like it needed professional help. I explained not needing to actually be there on site working in their software but it could be done remotely, and I took over that website. I redesigned it, then again several times over a long span of time, first in .html and then again in WordPress. They had four fundraising events each year, one per season, and eventually, I branded or re-branded those as well, and was basically their in-house marketing and designer, off site. I did every postcard, 36 page program book, art for wine glasses, you name it; saw them through anniversaries, a capital campaign to raise funds to move their location, all of the marketing for their Benet Woods project- a brand new housing development for low income families, many years of steady work.

The executive director retired eventually, and the new staff determined that they would use a large Pittsburgh agency going forward. This is the natural course, as they had a completely new vision, and it was time. This is a new section, there is a lot of stuff in the folders, please check back as I keep adding to it.
