McCali Manor caught fire and burned down in 2023. The building is still in existence but in bad shape.
McCali Manor is located in the town square in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania. It has undergone a few transitions since purchased by the current owner, who originally had a restaurant and bar on the main floor and a space for rent, for parties or receptions. Eventually the building was remodeled to include 4 apartment units for rent on a nightly or long term basis. The owner contacted me with the task of updating the website since the information on it was outdated. It was not mobile friendly, either so I changed the template, redesigned it and added the most important thing… photography! It had only a handful of photos, and they didn’t do justice to the place.
I went over, and in one afternoon, took photos of everything possible to show the rooms available for rent and the atmosphere of the building and the town. It is a unique, old building with a lot of history, and the location is incredible, right in the middle of town across from the doughboy statue, across from Veteran’s Memorial Park, and also across the street from a popular restaurant. The famous Mount Pleasant Glass & Ethnic Festival is held there every year and McCali Manor has a prime spot, with a large deck and a fantastic view for people watching. The streets close down for pedestrian traffic only, and McCali is usually full during that time.
