Shannon and Staley originally came to Hot Designs with a domain and no website after having spent money with another design firm, and with no results. I was told to literally just throw something up so we can get started. Money had been spent elsewhere and the it was a challenge getting access to it. Eventually more trouble came up as the domain name was registered by someone who later had a stroke, so their website went down. I personally spent months and hours of time emailing the folks at ICANN, working to get the ownership of the name transferred directly to the client. It was a very trying time but in the end the name was retrieved and the site is now all under our control.
Later I added a logo to the site and we have made small enhancements to it over time. Discussions of changing it over to WordPress are in the works also but fortunately they are so busy, we haven’t done it yet. Now that’s success.
